Ball Valve

Electric ball valve is an important actuator in industrial automation control system. Electric ball valve is a valve that rotates around the axis of the valve stem according to the moving form of the valve disc. The change of valve seat opening is in direct proportion to the valve disc stroke. It is mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline, and can also be used for fluid regulation and control. It is a kind of pipeline pressure element for industrial automation process control.Electric ball valve is composed of electric actuator and ball valve. It is a kind of pipeline pressure element in industrial automation process control. It is usually used for remote on and off (connecting and cutting off medium) control of pipeline medium. The electric ball valve standard GB / t21465-2008 "valve terminology" is defined as a valve in which the hoist (ball) is driven by the valve stem and rotates around the axis of the valve stem. It is mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline, and it can also be used for fluid regulation and control. Among them, there is a strong shear force between the V-shaped ball core of the hard sealed V-shaped ball valve and the metal valve seat of surfacing cemented carbide, which is especially suitable for the medium containing fiber, micro solid particles and so on. Electric ball valve is divided into electric flange ball valve, electric wafer ball valve, electric welding ball valve and electric screw ball valve. According to the sealing form, it is also divided into soft sealing electric ball valve and hard sealing electric ball valve。

The types of electric ball valves include: floating ball valve, fixed ball valve, track ball valve, V-shaped ball valve, three-way ball valve, stainless steel ball valve, forged steel ball valve, ash unloading ball valve, sulfur resistant ball valve, three-way ball valve, pneumatic ball valve, electric ball valve, ferrule ball valve, welded ball valve, flange ball valve and threaded ball valve.

Floating ball: the ball of the ball valve is floating. Under the action of medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and press tightly on the sealing surface of the outlet end to ensure the sealing of the outlet end. The floating ball valve has simple structure and good sealing performance, but the load of the working medium borne by the ball is transmitted to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. When impacted by high pressure, the ball may deviate. This structure is generally used for medium and low pressure ball valves.

Fixed ball: the ball of the ball valve is fixed and does not move after being pressed. Fixed ball valves are equipped with floating valve seats. After being subjected to medium pressure, the valve seats move to make the sealing ring tightly press on the ball to ensure sealing. Bearings are usually installed on the upper and lower shafts of the ball, with small operating torque. It is suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves. In order to reduce the operating torque of the ball valve and increase the reliability of sealing, lubricating oil is used to form an oil film, which not only enhances the sealing performance, but also reduces the operating torque. It is more suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter ball valves.
