Q144-RBC Q96-RBC Q72-RBC Q48-RBC Voltmeter AC

AC voltmeter (AC volteter), also known as high frequency millivoltmeter (high frequency millivoltmeter), is used to measure AC voltage. AC voltmeter is also divided into analog meter and digital meter. The analog meter uses an analog circuit inside, and the display method is a pointer. The digital meter adopts digital circuit inside, and the display mode is digital display.

AC voltmeters generally have voltage measurement and level measurement. Voltage measurement refers to measuring the absolute amount of voltage, and level measurement refers to measuring the relative amount of voltage. The frequency range of the AC voltmeter is generally 1-2MHz at the high end and 20Hz at the low end. Can not measure DC, the input resistance of the AC voltmeter is typically 1M ohms, which is sufficient in general situations. Unless the internal resistance of the node under test is very large, for example, reaching hundreds of thousands of ohms, then the input resistance of the voltmeter has a significant impact on the resistance under test, resulting in inaccurate measurements.

Instructions of Q144-RBC Q96-RBC Q72-RBC Q48-RBC Voltmeter AC

The input resistance of the AC voltmeter is very large, so the measurement feeder of the instrument acts as an antenna to receive a large amount of interference (especially the power frequency interference amplitude is the largest), which often causes a phenomenon, that is, when the meter's range switch When it is placed in a smaller gear, the needle will rapidly deflect to the far right, commonly known as "playing the meter". Therefore, as an operating habit, the range switch should usually be placed in a higher gear, such as 10V, 30V gear or In a higher gear, no matter what gear, once the "metering" occurs, just short the feeder, and the needle will return to zero after a while. If it cannot return to zero, it means that the feeder is short-circuited.

One end of the feeder is a BNC plug, which is connected to the instrument, and the other end has two leads connected to alligator clips, one red and one black, used to connect to the circuit under test. Although the measured AC voltage is used, the black wire must be connected to the measured circuit. The ground wire of the circuit under test is connected and cannot be reversed, that is, the ground wire of the electronic measuring instrument is connected to the ground wire of the circuit under test, commonly known as "common ground", otherwise interference will be introduced, which means that all electronic measurement results will no longer be accurate.

The value read from the voltage scale of the dial corresponding to the pointer of the AC voltmeter is an effective value, but this effective value is for a sine wave, and the correct result cannot be obtained for a non-sine wave, so. Make sure that the measured voltage is a sine wave before measurement. If the sine wave has a large distortion, the measurement result will no longer be accurate.
