Overview
A pressure transmitter in the general sense is mainly composed of a load cell sensor (also called a pressure sensor), a measurement circuit and a process connection. It can convert physical pressure parameters such as gas and liquid sensed by the load cell sensor into standard electrical signals (such as 4~20mADC, etc.) to supply secondary instruments such as indicating alarms, recorders, and regulators for measurement and indication. and process regulation.
The pressure transmitter is an instrument that accepts pressure variables and converts the pressure changes into standard output signals in a certain proportion after sensing and conversion. The output signal of the transmitter is transmitted to the central control room for pressure indication, recording or control.
Pressure transmitters can be divided into general pressure transmitters (0.001MPa ~ 35MPa), differential pressure transmitters (0 ~ 1.5kPa), and negative pressure transmitters according to the measurement range; from the perspective of accuracy, because The accuracy of my country's national standard is 0.5%. Therefore, in recent years, it can be divided into high-precision pressure transmitters (0.1% or 0.2% or 0.075%) and general pressure transmitters (0.5%).
Pressure transmitters can be divided into capacitive pressure transmitters, diffused silicon pressure transmitters, and monocrystalline silicon pressure transmitters according to the type of sensor.
Working principle
The pressure transmitter transmits the pressure signal to the electronic device, which in turn displays the pressure on the computer.
The principle is roughly:
Convert the mechanical signal of water pressure, such as pressure, into an electronic signal, such as current (4-20mA)
Pressure and voltage or current have a linear relationship, generally a proportional relationship
Therefore, the voltage or current output by the transmitter increases as the pressure increases
This results in a relationship between pressure and voltage or current
The two pressures of the measured medium of the pressure transmitter pass into the high and low pressure chambers, and the pressure in the low pressure chamber adopts atmospheric pressure or vacuum, which acts on the isolation diaphragms on both sides of the delta element (ie, the sensitive element), and passes through Figura. The filling fluid in the spacer and element is transferred to both sides of the measuring diaphragm. The pressure transmitter is composed of a measuring diaphragm and electrodes on both sides of the insulating sheet to form a capacitor. When the pressure on both sides is inconsistent, the measuring diaphragm will be displaced, and its displacement is proportional to the pressure difference, so the capacitances on both sides are not equal. Through the oscillation and demodulation links, it is converted into a signal proportional to the pressure.
