This type of turbine flow product itself does not have the function of on-site display, and only transmits the flow signal far away. The flow signal can be divided into pulse signal or current signal (4-20mA); the instrument is low in price, high in integration and small in size, especially suitable for use with secondary display instrument, PLC, DCS and other computer control systems.

This kind of turbine flow products are divided into basic type and explosion-proof type (ExdIIBT6).

According to different output signals, such products can be divided into LWGY-□N type and LWGY-□A type

LWGY-□N type sensor: 12~24VDC power supply, three-wire pulse output, high level≥8V, low level≤0.8V; signal transmission distance≤1000 meters;

LWGY-□A transmitter: 24VDC power supply, two-wire 4-20mA output, signal transmission distance ≤1000.

Using advanced ultra-low power consumption single-chip microcomputer technology to develop a new type of intelligent instrument that integrates turbine flow sensor and display totalizer, adopts double-row liquid crystal on-site display, has compact structure, intuitive and clear reading, high reliability, and is not immune to external power supply. It has obvious advantages such as interference, lightning resistance and low cost. The instrument has three-point correction of the instrument coefficient, intelligently compensates the nonlinearity of the instrument coefficient, and can perform on-site correction. The high-definition liquid crystal display simultaneously displays instantaneous flow (4 significant digits) and cumulative flow (8 significant digits, with zero-clearing function). All valid data will not be lost for 10 years after power failure. These turbine flowmeters are all explosion-proof products, and the explosion-proof grade is: ExdIIBT.

This type of turbine flowmeter can be divided into LWGY-□B type and LWGY-□C type according to the power supply mode and whether it has remote signal output.

LWGY-□B type: power supply adopts 3.2V10AH lithium battery (can run continuously for more than 4 years); no signal output function.

LWGY-□C type: The power supply adopts 24VDC external power supply, and outputs 4-20mA standard two-wire current signal. According to different site needs, RS485 or HART communication can be added.

Turbine flowmeter has the advantages of high precision, good repeatability, no zero drift, and high turndown ratio. Turbine flow meters have high-quality bearings, specially designed guide vanes, which greatly reduce wear, are insensitive to peaks, and give reliable measured variables even under harsh conditions. Turbine flowmeter output signal is pulse, easy to digitize. The turbine flowmeter has small pressure loss, anti-corrosion blades, and can measure viscous and corrosive media.

Turbine flowmeter is the main type of velocity flowmeter. When the measured fluid flows through the turbine flowmeter sensor, under the action of the fluid, the impeller is forced to rotate, and its rotational speed is proportional to the average flow velocity of the pipeline. At the same time, the blades are periodically According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, a pulsating potential signal, that is, an electric pulse signal, will be induced in the coil. The frequency of this electric pulsation signal is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid to be measured.

Installation method of LWGY-15 LWGY-25 LWGY-32 Turbine flowmeter

1. The instrument installation adopts flange connection, threaded connection and clip-on type.

2. During installation, the liquid flow direction should be consistent with the direction of the arrow indicating the flow direction on the sensor shell, and the upstream straight pipe section should be ≥6DS, and the downstream straight pipe section should be ≥5DS (DS is the measured inner diameter of the pipe under test).

3. The sensor should be kept away from the external magnetic field. If it cannot be avoided, necessary measures should be taken;

4. In order not to affect the normal transportation of liquid during maintenance, bypass pipes should be installed outside the straight pipe sections at both ends of the sensor.

5. When the sensor is installed in the open air, please waterproof the amplifier plug.

6. For the wiring between the sensor and the display instrument, the wiring method should be selected according to the power supply of the amplifier. For details, please refer to the relevant "Instruction Manual".
