8200 8202 8200H 8202H Positioner is one of the products introduced from Masoneilan of the United States. It is a new product introduced in the 1990s. It is mainly used to improve the linearity of the regulating valve, speed up the action of the valve, overcome the unbalanced force of the regulating valve core and achieve split range control. Its characteristics are as follows:


Compact structure, light weight, explosion-proof components are composed of torque motor and junction box

It is easy to repair due to the use of standardized structural parts. All screws are made of stainless steel

The zero position and stroke are easy to adjust;

The back and side of the positioner can be installed on the actuator;

It is easy to switch from automatic operation to manual operation.


Structural principle of 8200 8202 8200H 8202H Positioner

Structure: The positioner is composed of torque motor, armature, spring, zero adjustment spring, nozzle * baffle, amplifier, automatic/manual switching mechanism, feedback spring, feedback rod, etc.


Principle: When the signal current is input to the torque motor, the armature rotates clockwise with the reed as the fulcrum. The baffle is close to the nozzle to increase the pressure of the nozzle back pressure chamber. The diaphragm pushes the pilot valve, and the air supply pressure becomes the output pressure and enters the actuator. The push rod of the actuator moves downward and drives the feedback rod, feedback spring, etc. When the force generated by the torque motor is balanced with the feedback springing tension, the fixed signal current corresponds to the fixed push rod position.
