Overview

Ordinary pressure gauge is a local indicating pressure gauge, which locally displays the pressure without remote transmission, display and adjustment functions.

Ordinary pressure gauge is suitable for measuring the pressure and vacuum of liquid, gas or steam without explosion, crystallization, solidification and corrosion to copper and copper alloy.

Working principle

Through the elastic deformation of Bourdon tube, the sensitive element in the gauge, the pressure gauge converts the elastic deformation of Bourdon tube into rotary motion through the conversion mechanism of movement in the gauge, causing pointer deflection to display the pressure.

Spring is divided into C-type tube, coil reed tube, spiral tube and other types. Generally, cold work hardening materials (commonly used materials are copper alloys) have high plasticity in the annealed state, and high elasticity and strength are obtained after cold work hardening and qualitative treatment.

The section of the C-type Bourdon tube sensitive element is elliptical, and the pressure of the measuring medium acts on the inner side of the Bourdon tube, so the elliptical section of the Bourdon tube will tend to a circular section. Due to the small deformation of Bourdon tube, a certain ring stress is formed. This ring stress causes the Bourdon tube to extend outward. Because the head of the elastic Bourdon tube is not fixed, it will produce small deformation.
